The Brenda Buford Memorial Scholarship was created to assist exceptional students with their continuing education. Each year, GP Federal Credit Union offers two $1,000 (non-renewing) scholarships and two $500 (non-renewing) scholarships to students affiliated with our credit union who have demonstrated exceptional academic ability, imagination, determination, and ambition.
The requirements to apply for the scholarship are as follows:
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior accepted to a college, university, or technical school, or a college student enrolled in the next Fall semester of a college, university, or technical school.
Applicant must be either a primary member, or immediate family of a member, of GP Federal Credit Union, with an account in good standing.
Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Completed application packets must be received by the close of business on April 12, 2024. Any application packets received after this date cannot be considered. Scholarship awards will be announced on or before April 26, 2024.
